Dispensary at Shepherdswell

Our dispensary is being renovated w/c 15th November, so we would like to ask all patients whose prescriptions are due w/c 15th & 22nd November to kindly arrange for requests to be with us by Friday 5th, so that we can prepare them during next week.

Collection of medication will be the usual time frame, so please do not collect any earlier than they are due.

Text messages have been sent to patients will mobiles.

Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience.

Appointments

DUE TO THE PANDEMIC, FOR THE SAFETY OF PATIENTS AND STAFF WE HAVE DECIDED TO MAINTAIN OUR SYSTEM FOR MANAGING FOOTFALL INTO BOTH OUR PRACTICES. PATIENTS WHO HAVE BEEN ASKED TO ATTEND THE SURGERY ARE REQUIRED TO RING THE DOORBELL AND WAIT TO BE ATTENDED BY A MEMBER OF STAFF.

calendar

WE ARE CURRENTLY OPERATING A TELEPHONE TRIAGE SYSTEM, WHEREBY A GP OR SPECIALIST NURSE WILL CALL YOU FIRST AND THEN BOOK A FACE-TO-FACE APPOINTMENT FOR YOU, SHOULD ONE BE NECESSARY.

For a same day telephone call, please phone 01304 201705 between the following times:

  • 07:30 – 09:30 Mon, Tues and Fri
  • 08:00 – 09:30 Wed and Thurs

This applies for appointments at our main Folkestone Road surgery and our branch surgery at Shepherdswell.

At Folkestone Road Surgery we have a Nurse led surgery. Come and see our Specialist Nurse Prescriber, Hailie, for all your minor ailments.

Open to adults and children aged 5 years and over.

Practice Nurses

In a number of cases it might be worth considering an appointment with a practice nurse rather than a doctor. Practice nurses are qualified to deal with many medical problems.

Cancellations

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
