Appointments

Starting early August at our Folkestone Road Surgery we have a Nurse led walk-in surgery.

Come and see our Specialist Nurse Prescriber, Hailie for all your minor ailments.

Available Tues/Wed/Thurs mornings

Open to adults and children aged 5 years and overcalendar

Our morning surgery at the Folkestone Road Branch is run on an "open" basis, where no appointment is necessary. Patients registered with our surgery can simply turn up and book a slot for that morning.

Morning surgery at Shepherdswell Branch is by appointments only.

Afternoon surgeries at both sites are strictly by pre-booked appointment only. Bookings can be made in person at reception or over the telephone as follows:

  • Folkestone Road 01304 201705
  • Shepherdswell Branch 01304 830846

Easy access for the disabled is available at all levels of the main surgery at Folkestone Road via a lift. The Shepherdswell branch surgery also has easy access for the disabled being at ground level only.

Practice Nurses

In a number of cases it might be worth considering an appointment with a practice nurse rather than a doctor. Practice nurses are qualified to deal with many medical problems.

Telephone Advice

If you need telephone advice you can request this by calling the surgery and leaving a message about the problem with the receptionist. Your call will be returned after morning surgery. Please call as early as possible,so as to allow the doctors and the staff to plan the use of their time efficiently when returning your call. If the matter is URGENT, please say so when you call, or alternatively you may feel it more appropriate to call or visit the local minor injuries department at Buckland Hospital, or the nearest A&E Dept.

Cancellations

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
